Software: AI agent that starts LinkedIn conversations from intent signals

The best appointment setting services in 2026 include Belkins, CIENCE, SalesRoads, memoryBlue, SalesHive, Callbox, A-Sales and DialsDone. They put qualified meetings on your calendar for a retainer, a per-SDR fee or a price per meeting. Software such as Apollo or GTM Plays is the alternative when your own team can handle the conversations.

Every agency here was checked on its own website on 24 Oct 2026. GTM Plays is our product. It is software, not an appointment-setting service: it starts conversations on LinkedIn, but it does not book meetings by itself.

How we picked

We started from the agencies named most often in current "appointment setting services" search results and kept those that:

  • sell B2B appointment setting as a core service
  • explain on their own site how they run outreach and how they charge
  • give enough detail to compare, even when the price itself is quoted

We added two software options for teams that would rather run outreach themselves. We did not use directory ratings or third-party price claims, because several conflict with what the agencies publish.

Appointment setting pricing models

Model How you pay Who carries the risk Examples here
Retainer A fixed monthly fee for a team and programme You Belkins, SalesHive
Per-SDR fee Each rep's time, sometimes plus a bonus Shared CIENCE
Pay per held meeting Only meetings that take place and meet the standard Mostly the agency A-Sales, DialsDone
Software Per seat or flat monthly; your team does the work You Apollo, GTM Plays

Whatever the model, compare quotes on cost per held, qualified meeting, and write the definition of "qualified" into the contract.

The best appointment setting services

Belkins (agency)

Why it is on this list: one of the broadest channel mixes we found, from cold email to WhatsApp.

What it is: a B2B lead generation and appointment-setting agency. Its site lists omnichannel outreach across cold email, cold and intent calling, voicemail, SMS and WhatsApp, LinkedIn and paid advertising, plus lead research, ABM, deliverability consulting and outsourced SDRs (belkins.io).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, belkins.io/pricing): monthly retainer packages built around your goals, markets and channels. No figures are published, so you get a quote on a call.

Best for: mid-market and larger B2B teams who want a full outbound programme run for them.

Watch out for: retainers are a monthly commitment, so agree in writing what counts as a qualified appointment before you start.

CIENCE (agency)

Why it is on this list: it is one of the few agencies that publishes per-SDR prices, which makes budgeting easier.

What it is: outsourced SDR teams for outbound, inbound and scaled programmes, with cold email, cold calling, appointment setting, research and ads services, run on its own graph8 platform (cience.com).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, cience.com/pricing): published. A campaign team costs $2,000 a month and the graph8 platform $499 a month (75,000 credits included). SDRs start at $1,750 per SDR a month offshore, or $3,500 per SDR a month in the US and Europe. A performance bonus is paid when an SDR hits their held-meeting target, and setup is a one-time fee. CIENCE's own example, with five offshore SDRs, comes to $11,249 a month plus bonus.

Best for: teams who want transparent SDR pricing and the option to add or remove reps month to month.

Watch out for: the bonus formula adds cost when targets are hit, so model the total cost per held meeting before you sign.

SalesRoads (agency)

Why it is on this list: it focuses on phone-led appointment setting with experienced reps.

What it is: an outsourced appointment-setting and SDR company based in Boca Raton, Florida. It says its dedicated reps have 5 to 10 years of industry experience (salesroads.com).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, salesroads.com): quote-based. Its quote form asks whether your expected monthly investment is under $5,000, $5,000 to $10,000 or $10,000 or more.

Best for: US companies that want phone-led appointment setting with experienced reps.

Watch out for: phone-first programmes suit some markets better than others, so ask for case studies in your segment.

memoryBlue (agency)

Why it is on this list: its long track record in B2B tech and the option to hire reps onto your team.

What it is: an outsourced SDR, ADR and AE provider running since 2003, working only with B2B technology and professional services companies. It lists 650+ dedicated reps and 7 global offices, and now includes Operatix (memoryblue.com).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, memoryblue.com): not published on its home page; quoted through a strategy call.

Best for: B2B tech and professional services firms that want phone-led sales development, and possibly to hire the reps later.

Watch out for: it is focused on tech and professional services, so other sectors may not fit.

SalesHive (agency)

Why it is on this list: it bundles SDRs, a strategist and tools into one monthly fee.

What it is: a B2B sales development agency with US-based SDRs, a strategist and an AI platform, counting client meetings and accounts since 2016 (saleshive.com).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, saleshive.com): one flat monthly fee covering your SDR team, strategist, AI platform, data and tools. The figure is quoted after a call.

Best for: mid-market teams who want US-based SDRs on a single monthly fee.

Watch out for: ask how many SDR hours your fee buys and how meetings are counted.

Callbox (agency)

Why it is on this list: it covers many regions and channels from one provider.

What it is: an outsourced B2B lead generation and appointment-setting provider founded in 2004. It runs multi-channel outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn and digital channels, and says it serves clients in 60+ countries (callboxinc.com).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, callboxinc.com): custom. Callbox says price depends on campaign scope, target market and engagement model.

Best for: companies selling into several regions, including APAC, that want phone-led campaigns.

Watch out for: without a published price, ask for the full cost per campaign and the exact definition of a qualified lead.

A-Sales (agency, pay per held meeting)

Why it is on this list: it bills only for held meetings that meet a written standard.

What it is: a B2B appointment-setting agency whose case studies are largely phone-led, with cold email alongside (a-sales.co).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, a-sales.co/pay-per-appointment): A-Sales charges per held, qualified meeting. The rate is quoted after a fit assessment and depends on who you sell to and how tight your qualification standard is. Where a per-meeting rate does not fit, it runs a managed engagement from $4,000 a month. No-shows and meetings outside the written standard are not billed.

Best for: teams with a proven target profile who want to pay for held meetings.

Watch out for: the rate is only known after the fit assessment.

DialsDone (agency, pay per held meeting)

Why it is on this list: a phone-first option on a pay-per-meeting-held plan.

What it is: a calling company with human callers for cold calling and appointment setting, plus AI phone agents (dialsdone.com).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, dialsdone.com): its Pay Per Meeting plan charges per meeting held. We did not find a published per-meeting figure on its appointment-setting page.

Best for: markets where buyers still answer the phone.

Watch out for: phone-only programmes depend on good numbers for your target titles.

Software options if your team takes the calls

Apollo.io

Why it is on this list: it gives a small team data, sequences and a dialer in one tool, so you can run your own appointment setting.

What it is: an AI GTM system with a database of 240M+ contacts and 30M+ accounts, email sequencing, a dialer, buying signals and AI agents (apollo.io).

Pricing (as of Oct 2026, apollo.io/pricing): a Free plan, Basic at $49 a month and Professional at $99 a month on monthly billing, plus a Custom plan through sales. All seats on an account must be on the same plan.

Best for: small and mid-sized teams who want data and email sequencing in one self-serve tool.

Watch out for: it is database- and email-led rather than LinkedIn-first.

GTM Plays

Why it is on this list: it finds people showing buying signals on LinkedIn and starts the conversation, so your team can take it to a meeting.

What it is: an AI agent for LinkedIn. It finds people showing intent signals, scores each one for fit against your ICP, writes a message for each person and sends it from your own LinkedIn account. Replies come into one inbox, where you take over. It does not book meetings by itself.

Pricing: Pro is $149 a month after a 7-day free trial, and each extra agent is $59 a month. Live Leads, a one-off extraction of a LinkedIn company page's followers or a post's engagers, is paid per lead with credits and is separate from Pro.

Best for: founders and small teams who want signal-led LinkedIn outreach without building workflows.

Integrations and exports: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Attio, folk, Breakcold, Instantly, Smartlead, SmartReach, HeyReach, Slack, Clay and Zapier, plus webhooks, a REST API and an MCP server. CSV export, and credits for email and phone enrichment. Live Leads exports in Clay, Instantly and Smartlead formats.

Limits: it is not a contact database to browse, and it has no built-in email sequencer or dialer; for email it connects to tools such as Instantly, Smartlead and SmartReach.

How to choose: agency or software?

Choose an agency when you have budget, a proven offer and no one with time to prospect. Agree on the definition of a qualified meeting, minimum term, and who owns the data and accounts.

Choose software when someone on your team can work replies and take first calls. It costs less, you learn what messaging works, and you keep the pipeline knowledge. Our guide to lead generation services vs software covers the trade-off in depth.

Before you decide, put numbers on it. Our lead generation ROI calculator lets you compare the cost of an agency with doing it yourself. And whichever route you pick, qualification matters more than volume; see our glossary entry on lead qualification.

Where GTM Plays fits

GTM Plays does not replace an appointment-setting agency, and it does not book meetings by itself. It finds people showing intent signals on LinkedIn, scores fit against your ICP, and writes and sends messages from your own LinkedIn account. Replies arrive in one inbox, where you or your team book the meeting. It connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Attio, folk, Breakcold, Instantly, Smartlead, SmartReach, HeyReach, Slack, Clay and Zapier, plus webhooks, a REST API and an MCP server.

Frequently asked questions

What do appointment setting services do?

They find prospects who match your ideal customer profile, contact them by phone, email or LinkedIn, qualify interest and put a sales meeting on your calendar.

How much do appointment setting services cost?

It depends on the model. Retainers are usually quoted; CIENCE publishes SDRs from $1,750 per SDR a month offshore plus fees; per-meeting agencies such as A-Sales quote a rate per held meeting, as of Oct 2026.

Is appointment setting software a replacement for an agency?

Not exactly. Software helps your own team find and contact prospects; an agency provides the people. Choose software if someone on your team can work replies and run calls.

Does GTM Plays book meetings?

No. GTM Plays finds intent signals and sends LinkedIn messages from your own account. Replies arrive in one inbox, and your team books the meeting.
