GTM Plays + Breakcold integration

The GTM Plays Breakcold integration sends every lead your LinkedIn agents find into Breakcold, optionally into the list you choose, with name, email, phone, company, role, city, LinkedIn URL and website. It connects with a Breakcold API key, skips people already in Breakcold and sends data one way.

What the integration does

Breakcold describes itself as an AI-native CRM for sales teams and AI agents that sell via email, calling, LinkedIn, Telegram and WhatsApp (breakcold.com, checked October 2026). GTM Plays finds people on LinkedIn who show buying signals, scores them and runs the outreach. This integration moves them into Breakcold so your social selling pipeline stays complete. What syncs

Data flows one way, from GTM Plays to Breakcold. GTM Plays reads only your lists (to let you pick one) and searches for existing leads.

List. After you verify your key, a List menu shows your Breakcold lists. It is optional; pick one if you want new leads grouped.

Duplicates. Before adding a lead, GTM Plays searches Breakcold by email, or by LinkedIn URL when there is no email. If a lead is found, nothing is added.

When leads are sent

• New leads, automatically. With "Automatically send new contacts" on (the default), each new lead your agents find, or that you import into an agent, is sent as it arrives.
• One contact at a time. From any contact's drawer, choose Send to… and pick Breakcold.

Leads are sent in batches through Breakcold's API, in the background, so your agents never wait on it. The Breakcold card in Settings → Integrations shows the time, status and any error of the last delivery.

Before you connect

• Decide where leads should land. Create a Breakcold list such as "LinkedIn signals" first, so you can select it in GTM Plays straight after verifying.
• Keep the key private. Anyone holding it can add leads to your Breakcold workspace, so paste it only into GTM Plays and rotate it if it leaks.
• Agree on follow-up. Decide whether Breakcold or GTM Plays owns the next touch for each lead, so nobody gets two first messages.

How to set it up

1. Copy your API key. In Breakcold, open Settings → Developers → API key.
2. Open GTM Plays. Go to Settings → Integrations → Breakcold.
3. Paste the key and press Verify. GTM Plays confirms it and loads your lists.
4. Pick a list if you want one.
5. Save and press Check connection. No test lead is created.

Use cases

• Social selling pipeline. Keep every LinkedIn lead in Breakcold's pipeline next to your other channels.
• Multichannel follow-up. Breakcold covers email, calling and messaging apps, so a lead first found on LinkedIn can be followed up elsewhere.
• Clean lists. The duplicate check means re-sending a contact never adds it twice.
• Signal-first prospecting. Start from buying signals, not cold lists, and see how teams generate leads on LinkedIn.

Good to know

• The GTM Plays score and signal are not written to Breakcold today.
• Existing Breakcold leads are not updated.
• Replies are not written to Breakcold; use Slack or a webhook for reply alerts.
• GTM Plays does not book meetings by itself.

Troubleshooting

The integration card in Settings → Integrations shows the last delivery and the error message, if any. The common ones:

• "The key was rejected (401)". The key was revoked, expired or mistyped. Paste a new one and press Verify.
• "The key is missing a permission this needs (403)". Give the key the access listed in the setup steps, then verify again.
• Rate limiting (429). The service asked GTM Plays to slow down. The current delivery stops and the message shows on the card; later leads go out with the next delivery.
• "The service redirected the request". Usually the wrong account region or URL. GTM Plays never follows redirects with your key attached.

Security and data handling

• Your Breakcold API key is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it is stored, used only on GTM Plays' servers, never sent back to your browser and never logged. Settings show only its last four characters.
• Empty fields are left out of every request rather than sent as blanks, so GTM Plays never overwrites something you typed in Breakcold with an empty value.
• You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations. Records already created in Breakcold stay there.
