GTM Plays and Traxy both start from the same insight: people engaging on LinkedIn are warmer than a cold list. Traxy focuses on finding and qualifying those people and adding verified emails. GTM Plays goes one step further on its Pro plan: it also writes each message and sends it from your LinkedIn account.

This page is a fair side-by-side. Traxy details come from traxy.ai and its pricing page, checked on 1 November 2026. Where a vendor does not say something, we say so rather than guess.

The short answer

  • Pick Traxy if you want qualified LinkedIn leads with verified emails, you already have a sending tool, and you prefer not to connect a LinkedIn account for sourcing.
  • Pick GTM Plays if you want one agent that finds intent signals, scores fit, writes and sends each LinkedIn message from your own profile, and brings replies into one inbox.

Both have a 7-day free trial, so the most reliable test is to run both on the same ICP for a week.

How each one finds leads

Traxy gives you three sources, according to its site. You can build a watchlist of competitors, influencers or teammates and collect the people who engage with their posts. You can track Post Signals on specific posts. And its Discovery Agent, called "trax", looks for relevant leads on its own. Each lead is qualified against your ICP and enriched with a verified email.

GTM Plays starts from your website. It works out your ICP, then looks for people showing intent signals on LinkedIn and X, such as engaging with relevant posts or topics. Each person is scored for fit against your ICP before anything is sent.

The practical difference: Traxy gives you more direct control over which profiles you watch, while GTM Plays leans on the agent to find signals from your ICP.

How outreach works

This is where the two differ most.

Traxy lists an Outbound agent that writes sequences, starting on its Advanced plan. Its site says sending requires a configured sender. It also sells done-for-you outbound as an add-on, listed at $1,099 a month, and includes a strategist and a shared Slack channel on its Scale plan.

GTM Plays writes a message for each prospect and sends it from your own LinkedIn account, on the Pro plan. Replies arrive in one inbox, where you take over the conversation. GTM Plays does not book meetings by itself.

If you already run sending through another tool, Traxy's sourcing-first model may fit. If you want sourcing and sending in one place at the entry price, GTM Plays is built for that.

Integrations

Traxy lists Slack, Meta Ads and 8+ integrations, and takes payments through Stripe.

GTM Plays connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Attio, folk, Breakcold, Instantly, Smartlead, SmartReach, HeyReach, Slack, Clay and Zapier, plus webhooks, a REST API and an MCP server.

LinkedIn account and risk

Traxy says it does not need your LinkedIn account to source leads. That suits teams who want to keep their profile separate from lead collection.

GTM Plays sends from your own LinkedIn account, because messages from a real profile in your name tend to read as personal outreach rather than a campaign. That means you should keep volumes sensible and messages relevant, as you would by hand.

Where Traxy is stronger

  • Sourcing without a LinkedIn login.
  • Direct watchlists. You choose exactly which competitors or creators to monitor.
  • Service options. A done-for-you outbound add-on and a strategist on Scale.
  • Yearly discount. 20% off on every tier.

Where GTM Plays is stronger

  • Outreach on the entry plan. Writing and sending each LinkedIn message is part of Pro.
  • One inbox for replies. You see every conversation in one place and take over.
  • Signals from LinkedIn and X.
  • Wide integrations, including CRM, email tools, an API and an MCP server.

What the same $149 buys on each

Because both entry plans are $149 a month, it is worth being precise about what that money covers.

On Traxy Pro, the plan is sized by leads: up to 500 new qualified leads a month, each matched to your ICP and enriched with a verified email, from your watchlist, Post Signals and the Discovery Agent. Writing sequences with the Outbound agent is listed from Advanced, so on Pro you would export or sync those leads into whatever tool you use to reach out.

On GTM Plays Pro, the plan covers the whole loop on LinkedIn: finding people who show intent, scoring them against your ICP, writing a message for each person, sending it from your own account and collecting replies in one inbox. You still own the conversation once someone replies.

Neither is "better value" in the abstract. If your team already has a sender it likes, paying for sourcing only can make sense. If you have no outreach stack yet, paying once for sourcing and sending avoids a second subscription.

Common questions from people comparing them

Is Traxy a replacement for Trigify? Many former Trigify users look at engagement tools like Traxy, because Trigify's standalone platform shut down on 22 October 2026. Traxy covers the engagement-watching part; you may still need outreach.

Can I use both? Yes. Some teams source with one tool and send with another. Just keep your ICP rules the same in both so the results are comparable.

Which is easier to set up? Traxy asks you to pick profiles and posts to watch. GTM Plays asks for your website and builds the ICP from it. Both are quick; the bigger time cost is reviewing the first batch of leads carefully.

What about data quality? Judge it on your own market. Check a sample of leads by hand in the first week: right role, right company size, real recent activity.

Who should pick which

Your situation Better fit
You have a sending tool and only need qualified leads Traxy
You want leads and LinkedIn outreach from one tool GTM Plays
You do not want to connect LinkedIn for sourcing Traxy
You want someone else to run outbound for you Traxy, with its add-on
You want to handle replies yourself in one inbox GTM Plays

How to test both fairly

  1. Write down your ICP in a few lines: role, company size, industry, region.
  2. Start both trials on the same day.
  3. In Traxy, add three to five competitor or creator profiles to your watchlist. In GTM Plays, give it your website and the same ICP.
  4. After a week, compare how many leads matched your ICP and, for GTM Plays, how many replied.
  5. Keep the one that produced better conversations for your team.
